Throughout my career, I’ve produced and edited high-impact content across web, social, broadcast, and streaming. I’ve led teams and creative campaigns for major global sporting events including the Olympics, World Cup, and Super Bowl, and have honed my craft at organizations such as NBCUniversal, ESPN, NBC Sports Northwest, and Time Warner Cable SportsNet.

Strange Light Creative +
Strange Light Sports

I’m the founder and creative director of Strange Light Creative, an independent content studio developing and producing sports and culture-driven storytelling from concept through final delivery.

Strange Light Sports is a storytelling initiative within Strange Light Creative focused on elevating women’s and youth sports through documentary-style storytelling, athlete features, and community-driven content.

The project highlights the athletes, organizations, and cultural moments shaping the future of sport.

Community & Leadership

I’m deeply passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and creating stories that inspire the next generation of women in sports and media. I currently serve on the Marketing and Communications Committee for WISE (Women in Sports & Events) and am a graduate of the WISE Emerging Leaders program.

In addition to professional sports storytelling, I’ve partnered with youth sports organizations such as PlayMakers USA, creating video, social media and design content that supports community-building and access to sport.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Washington and a Master’s degree in Sports Management from California State University, Long Beach.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of two boys — a role that continues to shape my perspective on leadership, storytelling and the kind of work I want to put into the world.
